Terry Came Drive
Located within a growing residential area in Cambridge North, Terry Came Drive Playground & Fitness brings together play, outdoor fitness and recreation in one vibrant community space.
Built by Transland Developments 2009 Ltd to complement the surrounding development, the space offers something for a wide range of ages and abilities. Alongside the playground and outdoor fitness equipment are a wheelchair-accessible spinner, in-ground trampoline, musical play, basketball half-court and a concrete circuit for bikes, scooters and skating.
Inspired by Cambridge’s leafy character and love of trees, an autumn-inspired palette of red, orange, yellow and green flows through the playground equipment, surfacing and surrounding furniture.
With fitness equipment for adults, play opportunities for tamariki, seating, shade, picnic areas and a sheltered BBQ, Terry Came Drive has been designed as a place where the wider community can get active, play and spend time together.
