Clevedon School
Following the success of the junior playground we installed in 2023, Clevedon School wanted to extend the same Whare-inspired theme into a new space designed for their older students. The goal was to create something fresh and exciting that would engage the 8–12 age group with just the right level of challenge, while still sitting naturally within the school’s bush-like surroundings.
The new senior playground features the custom-designed Te Wairoa Tuakana structure – a bold, elevated circuit built specifically for Years 7–8. This is complemented by the dynamic Kompan Tipi Carousel, offering fast-paced group play, and the Palisade Rope Climbing Structure, which encourages agility, balance, and collaborative climbing. Together, these elements create a space that supports active play, social connection, and adventure – all within a uniquely local design approach.
The school is thrilled with the outcome, Principal Edeh Sullivan says “From our first communication through to the design process and final installation, the team was outstanding: responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely collaborative.”
